Thank you for visiting our little piece of paradise. At the bottom of the page is a gallery of photos of Casa Anolis and its surroundings. Casa Anolis gets its name from all of the little Anoles (lizards) that you will see in abundance in the back garden. At night you’ll be treated to the songs of the Coqui.

Casa Anolis is in the top most building of the Monte Sol Condominium in Fajardo. The Condo is 1650 sq ft with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a terrace in front, and a 750 sq ft garden in the back (now with a 20′ x 15′ deck). It is a one floor walk up from parking in the front while the back garden is at ground level. In the 3 bedrooms are 1 King and 2 Queen size beds with very comfortable mattresses and plenty of closet space. The master bedroom has a private bathroom.  The kitchen is recently renovated with new appliances, tiled counter-top and a gas grill on the terrace. We enjoy cooking and entertaining and our kitchen is fully equipped and stocked for doing serious cooking if you so choose. There is a large split-unit AC (very quiet) for the living area and each bedroom has A/C for comfortable sleeping. Our experience has been that the AC is rarely needed during most of the year (fall to spring) due to the constant breeze if you leave the doors and windows open.

The Tech:

While we do not have cable television, we do have cable internet with speeds that allow you to stream all of the major services e.g. iTunes, Netflix, Amazon.  The condo has wifi with excellent coverage. There is a dedicated computer with a laser printer connected to a 50″ TV to allow you to watch your favorite shows and movies online. The sound system allows you to stream your favorite online music or you can bluetooth-pair it with your ipod/iphone/android and listen to your own collection. A large collection of movies and music is available on the computer which you can watch on the TV or stream to your device anywhere in the condo thanks to the PLEX media server and its ever growing library. The TV also has a Chromecast dongle attached allowing you view your days photos and videos from your phones on the TV.
